FAQs
Bookshops
How can I order vouchers?
ABA members can fax completed voucher order form to the ABA office. A downloadable file of the form can be located in the member section of the website.
If you are unsure of your log in details, please contact the ABA office.
As we are unable to extend credit to non-members, payment is required before vouchers can be despatched. Orders can be completed online or by downloading the voucher order form on this website.
How can I claim redeemed vouchers?
Voucher claim forms can be found on this website. Simply fill on all details and return the form and vouchers to the ABA office. Refunds are processed at the end of each month.
Am I refunded the full face value of the voucher?
No. The refund amount is the face value less 11%, which consists of the 10% discount given to member bookshops plus a gst component, for which you can claim an input tax credit (the 10% discount given is considered a service and therefore attracts gst).
Can I return unused vouchers?
We do not accept voucher returns, but recommend instead that they be treated as redeemed and returned to the ABA office with a claim form.
A customer has presented an expired voucher, what do I do?
We like it when customers leave a bookshop happy, so will happily honour the return of expired vouchers as part of a normal claim.
Please note: whilst we accept that customers will, from time to time, present out of date vouchers, we deserve the right to reject a claim for what we consider to be an unreasonable and unusual quantity of expired vouchers.
