Following our very successful Social Media for Booksellers seminar in Brisbane, the ABA will be holding half-day seminars in Sydney and Melbourne from 1 pm to 4:30 pm. The seminars will be run by social media guru Clayton Wehner. Clayton is owner of Boomerang Books (www.boomerangbooks.com.au), Australia’s first carbon-neutral online bookstore, and the recently launched eBook download website, Booku (www.booku.com), Clayton also assists organisations with web strategy, search engine optimisation and social media. Clayton ran a highly successful Social Media session at the ABA 2011 Conference. Clayton ran a well-received introductory seminar at the ABA Conference in July. This will drill down into the detail of using Twitter, Facebook, blogging and other social media tools to build your communities, to build your presence in the online world, and ultimately to increase your business. The seminar is aimed at people who have some knowledge of social media, but want to ensure that they maximise the benefits to their business.
